How does God show mercy to humanity?

Answered in 1 source

God shows mercy by calling certain individuals to Himself, despite their unworthiness.

God's mercy is an expression of His grace that is bestowed upon undeserving sinners. In the sermon, it is pointed out that God's call to redemption is grounded in His sovereign choice, not based on human merit (Romans 9:16). The promise that whosoever hearkens unto God will find safety illustrates the relational aspect of mercy, where God takes the initiative to save those who cannot save themselves. This act of mercy reflects God's lovingkindness and His capacity to effectually transform lives when He chooses to reveal His grace.
