How does God the Father interact with the branches?

Answered in 1 source

God the Father, as the husbandman, ensures the branches are cared for, pruned, and fruitful.

In John 15:1-2, it is revealed that God the Father is the husbandman who cultivates His vineyard. He actively engages in the growth of His people by pruning unproductive branches and cleansing those that bear fruit. This process represents His sovereign grace, where He purges us through trials and the Word so that we may bring forth more fruit. It is through His work that believers are kept secure and fruitful in their faith.
