How does God use suffering to manifest His glory?

Answered in 1 source

God allows suffering to reveal His grace and sovereignty, demonstrating His power to transform lives.

In John 9:3, Jesus explains that the man's blindness was not due to sin but so the works of God might be manifested in him. This perspective on suffering illustrates that even afflictions serve a purpose in God’s plan, ultimately for His glory. Just as Lazarus’ sickness was for God’s glory (John 11:4), our suffering can lead to a deeper understanding and awareness of God’s grace and love. The preacher highlights that all things work together for the good of those who love God (Romans 8:28), indicating that God's sovereign purpose can shine through our trials and tribulations.
