How does God view man-made religion?

Answered in 1 source

God sees man-made religion as an abomination when it relies on human effort rather than faith.

In Isaiah 66:3, God expresses His disdain for sacrifices made with the wrong heart, describing them as abominable acts. When individuals attempt to approach God through their own works or religious efforts, they miss the essence of true faith, which is a heart dependent solely on God's mercy and grace. True worship is a result of recognizing that only Christ's sacrifice is sufficient to atone for sin, and anything else we offer is worthless to God.
