How does God work in believers during trials?

Answered in 1 source

God works in believers to sustain their faith and hope, especially during trials and hardships.

In times of trial, believers may feel overwhelmed, much like Jonah did inside the whale. However, the promise of God sustaining us during these moments is crucial to our faith. Ephesians 3:16 speaks of being 'strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man,' showing that God is actively working in us, empowering us to persevere. This divine assistance is what allows us to continue believing, even when circumstances suggest otherwise. It is a testament to God's faithfulness and the assurance that He has not abandoned us in our difficulties.
