How does grace enable believers to seek God?

Answered in 1 source

Grace enables believers to seek God by giving them the desire and ability to pursue Him.

Grace is the unmerited favor of God that empowers believers to seek Him. Ephesians 2:8 states that salvation is by grace through faith, signifying that it is God who initiates the relationship. When God grants us grace, He not only saves us but also enables a transformation within, allowing us to seek Him wholeheartedly. As stated in Matthew 6:33, seeking first the kingdom of God is a result of His grace working in our lives. Thus, true seeking arises from a heart transformed by grace, leading us to long for fellowship with our Creator, His word, and His righteousness.
