How does Jesus being fully God and fully man affect salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus being fully God and fully man allows Him to represent both God and humanity in salvation.

The dual nature of Jesus as fully God and fully man is essential for the doctrine of salvation. As a man, He can represent humanity and bear our sins, fulfilling the requirement of justice by dying in our place. However, His divinity ensures that His sacrifice is sufficient and perfect, capable of atoning for the sins of many. As noted in the sermon, He is the only one worthy to take upon Himself the sins of others, because unlike any other, He is sinless. This unique union of natures means that through Jesus, God and humanity can be reconciled, providing the only avenue for salvation as described in John 14:6, where He states that He is the way, the truth, and the life.
