How does Jesus being our captain relate to His lordship?

The concept of Jesus as our captain is rooted in His role as the ultimate authority in our lives, akin to Jephthah's leadership in Judges 11. While He leads, He also possesses the authority to save and guide His people. The recognition of Jesus as Lord is an acknowledgment of His power and control over all aspects of our existence (Matthew 28:18).
