How does Jesus demonstrate His love for us?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus shows His love through His sacrifice, ongoing presence, and the grace that pours from Him daily.

Jesus demonstrates His love for us primarily through His sacrificial death on the cross, which is the ultimate expression of love as stated in John 15:13, 'Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.' His ongoing love is evident in His continual presence and engagement with His people, where He says, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you' (Hebrews 13:5). Furthermore, the grace that flows from Christ daily provides sustenance for the believer's soul, as seen in how He constantly forgives, upholds, and nourishes us spiritually. The numerous acts of love that Christ extends solidify His role as our beloved and friend, inviting us into a deeper relationship with Him.
