How does Jesus fulfill the covenants mentioned in the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus fulfills the biblical covenants as the mediator who secures the promises of God through His sacrificial death.

Throughout scripture, and particularly highlighted in Isaiah 55, Jesus is described as the fulfillment of the God's covenants. He is the ‘sure mercies of David’ and acts as the mediator of an everlasting covenant. This means through Jesus’ sacrificial death, He confirms and secures all the promises that God has made to His people. The covenants established in the Old Testament find their ultimate realization in Christ, who brings reconciliation and the assurance of everlasting life through faith. Thus, believers are assured of their place in God's eternal plan of redemption, resting in the truth that these promises are rooted in Christ’s faithfulness.
