How does Jesus fulfill the role of wisdom personified?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus fulfills the role of wisdom personified by revealing the fullness of God’s truth and the path to salvation.

As the embodiment of wisdom, Jesus does not only impart knowledge but embodies all the attributes of God's truth and righteousness. In 1 Corinthians 1:30, Paul emphasizes that Christ is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. This means that through His life and teachings, He reveals God's intentions for humanity and offers guidance for living rightly in a fallen world. Unlike Solomon, who provided wise sayings, Jesus fully demonstrates how to live in accordance with divine will, culminating in His sacrificial love and redemptive work on the cross. Christians recognize that by following the wisdom found in Christ, they receive understanding that not only pertains to their earthly existence but also assures their eternal destiny.
