How does Jesus provide peace to troubled hearts?

Answered in 2 sources

Jesus offers His peace to believers, which is distinct from worldly peace, as stated in John 14:27.

In John 14:27, Jesus declares, 'Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.' This peace is rooted in His presence and the assurance of His promises, contrasting with the temporary and often fragile peace that the world offers. Jesus’ peace transcends circumstances and calms the troubled heart, allowing believers to rest and trust in His sovereign plan. When we face trials and turmoil, it is this divine peace that comforts and reassures us of our secure future with Christ.
