How does Joseph's story point to the purpose of God's sovereignty?

Answered in 1 source

Joseph's journey illustrates God's sovereign purpose in using trials for ultimate good.

The life of Joseph is filled with hardships, betrayal, and suffering, yet through it all, God's sovereign purpose is to save many lives. This is evident when Joseph states in Genesis 50:20 that what was meant for evil, God meant for good. His trials served a greater plan that ultimately led to the salvation of his family and countless others during the famine. Similarly, God orchestrates the events in our lives, using even our deepest struggles to fulfill His redemptive purposes, assuring believers that nothing happens outside His divine plan for their ultimate good and His glory.
