How does knowing Christ affect our prayer life?

Answered in 1 source

Knowing Christ is essential for effective prayer, as He is our only mediator.

A relationship with Christ is foundational for a vibrant prayer life. The Scriptures affirm that believers can only approach God through Jesus, our High Priest (Hebrews 4:14-16). This means that without a living knowledge of Christ, our prayers lack the necessary connection to the Father. Knowing Him allows us to pray with confidence, understanding that we are communicating with the One who intercedes for us. As we grow in our knowledge of Christ, our prayers become infused with His will and purpose, enabling us to align our requests with what is good and pleasing to God.
