How does knowing in part affect our faith?

Answered in 1 source

Knowing in part humbles us and deepens our dependence on Christ for understanding.

Currently, as believers, we possess only partial knowledge of God's fullness, which should humble us and increase our gratitude. This limited understanding makes us recognize our need for Christ. Theologians refer to this as 'knowledge in part,' indicating that while we can be certain of God's truth, we should remain open to His teaching and growth. Since much remains beyond our comprehension, it drives us to deepen our relationship with Him and rely on His wisdom, recognizing that true understanding comes not from ourselves but from our dependence on Him.
