How does one achieve peace with God?

Answered in 1 source

Peace with God is achieved solely through faith in Jesus Christ, who reconciles us through His sacrificial death.

Achieving peace with God is not based on human efforts or religious activities, but entirely through faith in Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:22 states that Christ reconciled us in His body of flesh by His death, enabling us to be presented holy and blameless before God. Our peace is established through the understanding that Jesus bore the wrath of God on our behalf, taking our sins upon Himself to restore us to a right relationship with God. This reconciliation means we no longer stand condemned but are justified by grace through faith (Romans 5:1). Therefore, it is through believing in Christ's redemptive work that we find lasting peace with God.
