How does one become part of the Church?

Answered in 1 source

One becomes part of the Church through faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Membership in the Church is not determined by earthly criteria but by spiritual rebirth established through faith in Jesus Christ (John 1:12-13). According to Ephesians 1:7, believers are accepted in the beloved, signifying that through Christ's redemptive work, they are made part of God's family. The involvement of the Holy Spirit is essential as He draws individuals to Christ, revealing their need for salvation (John 6:44). Thus, becoming part of the Church is a transformational experience resulting from both the conscious acceptance of Christ and the internal work of the Holy Spirit.
