How does one come to Christ for salvation?

Answered in 3 sources

One comes to Christ by recognizing their sinfulness and appealing to Him alone for salvation and grace.

The path to salvation begins with an awareness of one's own sinfulness and utter inability to save oneself. Jesus said He came to call sinners to repentance, emphasizing that true conversion occurs when a person acknowledges their guilt before a holy God. In Genesis 32, Jacob wrestles with God, representing the struggle of recognizing his need for redemption. Like Jacob, when individuals come before God, genuinely acknowledging their sin and appealing for mercy, they encounter the grace of Christ, who provides salvation freely to those who seek Him sincerely.
