How does one grow in grace?

Answered in 1 source

One grows in grace by recognizing their need for Christ, being fed by His Word, and relying on God to sustain them (1 Peter 2:2).

Growing in grace is a process that involves several key elements: first, recognizing our inherent need for grace, which heightens our appreciation for Christ. Second, believers are fed spiritually through engaging with Scripture, as seen in 1 Peter 2:2, where newborns are encouraged to crave the pure milk of the Word for growth. Third, it is essential to depend on God to sustain this growth, as our efforts alone cannot achieve spiritual maturity. This reliance on God’s sovereignty and grace is what enables believers to flourish in their faith and understanding of Jesus.
