How does one know if he is God's elect?

Answered in 1 source

One can know they are elect by responding to the gospel and experiencing its transformative power.

Knowing whether one is among God's elect is often determined by their response to the gospel. In 1 Thessalonians 1:4-10, Paul affirms the election of the Thessalonians because they received the gospel not merely in word but in power, resulting in their faith and transformation. Additionally, Christ teaches in John 6:37-39 that all whom the Father gives Him will come to Him, indicating that a genuine faith response is evidence of being chosen. Therefore, the experience of true belief and a desire to follow Christ demonstrate the reality of election in a believer's life.
