How does one seek God on His terms?

Answered in 1 source

Seeking God on His terms requires turning away from our ways and submitting to His plan of salvation through Christ.

To seek God on His terms involves forsaking our own ways and turning to the way He has established for salvation. Isaiah 55:7 calls us to let the wicked forsake his way and highlights the necessity of surrendering our thoughts to God’s will. This means acknowledging that our understanding of righteousness does not align with God’s. The ultimate expression of seeking God on His terms is found in coming to Christ, as stated in John 14:6, where Jesus claims, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.' Our approach to God must be through humility and faith in His provision of grace.
