How does Psalm 115 explain the presence of evil in the world?

Answered in 1 source

Psalm 115 acknowledges that while the wicked may seem to prosper, God ultimately holds them accountable and uses their actions for His glory.

In Psalm 115, the psalmist reflects on the taunts of the ungodly and questions why they seem to succeed despite their wickedness. The answer lies in God's sovereign rule over all creation. The psalm reminds believers that God is still in control and that the apparent prosperity of the wicked is temporary. It is only through a mature understanding of God's sovereignty that we appreciate that even the wrath of man serves God's purpose. God will deal with evil when it serves His glory and the good of His people.
