How does receiving Christ affect our relationships with others?

Answered in 1 source

Receiving Christ compels us to treat others with grace, love, and forgiveness.

When we truly receive Christ, it transforms how we interact with others. Ephesians 4:32 instructs us to 'be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.' This scripture underscores that our experience of Christ’s mercy should overflow into our relationships, prompting us to extend grace to others. Realizing that we have been forgiven much should lead us to forgive much. If we see bitterness or unforgiveness in our hearts, it raises questions about whether we genuinely comprehend the depth of Christ’s love for us.
