How does salvation relate to prayer?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is intertwined with prayer, as it is through seeking God that we find His mercy and salvation.

In the context of prayer, salvation becomes a central theme, as established in Psalm 69. The psalmist’s cry for deliverance reflects the believer’s ultimate need for salvation from sin and judgment. Prayer is the means through which we acknowledge our sinfulness and our reliance on Christ as our Savior. In praying for salvation, we are not only seeking God’s help but also expressing our dependent faith in His grace and the completed work of Christ, which is essential for our redemption.
