How does Satan provoke conflict among believers?

Satan, often called the adversary, actively seeks to foster conflict among believers by exploiting their weaknesses and encouraging division. One of his strategies is deceit, as seen in Acts 5:3, where he filled Ananias's heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, leading to tragic consequences. Additionally, 1 Peter 5:8 cautions believers to be sober and vigilant because the devil roams around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. By promoting resentment, bitterness, and misunderstandings, Satan works to distract believers from their true enemy and instigate discord within the community. Thus, Christians are encouraged to guard their hearts, remain watchful, and engage in prayer especially for unity and peace among the brethren.
