How does seeking God lead to finding peace?

Answered in 1 source

Seeking God allows individuals to confront their sin and receive the peace that comes from Christ.

In seeking God, believers face the reality of their sinfulness, as exemplified by Andrew's journey. He approached Jesus, filled with a sense of urgency about his spiritual condition, and through that openness, he found peace. In John 1:38, Jesus invites seekers to come and see, which signifies His readiness to offer comfort and assurance. The peace that Christ provides is not as the world gives; it transcends understanding and is granted to those who seek Him genuinely (Philippians 4:7). Hence, the act of seeking God paves the way for healing and peace in one's soul.
