How does service relate to worship according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Service is an extension of worship, as believers express their gratitude through acts of love and support.

Service and worship are intertwined in the life of a believer. Just as Martha served by providing for Jesus and those around Him, believers are called to serve one another as an expression of their worship and love for Christ. Genuine service comes from a heart that has been transformed by the Gospel and seeks to honor the Savior in every action. The act of serving is not merely a duty but a joyful response to Christ's grace. Through serving, we demonstrate our understanding of His love and the call to love others.
