How does the blood of Christ protect us from judgment?

Answered in 1 source

The blood of Christ visually represents His sacrifice, which, when accepted by faith, protects believers from God's impending judgment.

In the biblical narrative, the blood of the Passover lamb served as a symbol of protection against divine judgment. Similarly, the blood of Christ signifies His ultimate sacrifice for sin, ensuring believers are marked for salvation. As seen in Exodus 12:13, God promised to pass over homes marked by the blood, which illustrated His grace. For Christians, believing that the blood of Christ atones for our sins grants assurance that we are shielded from judgment. It is not our perception of the blood that saves us, but God’s recognition of Christ’s blood applied to us graciously that brings deliverance from condemnation.
