How does the concept of God's sovereignty comfort believers?

The sovereignty of God is a source of immense comfort for believers, as it affirms that nothing happens outside of His divine plan. As stated in the sermon, 'not one person or thing can thwart His purpose, His purpose of grace.' This assurance enables believers to face trials, knowing that God is orchestrating events for their ultimate good and His glory (Romans 8:28). In times of chaos, the reminder of God’s sovereignty allows us to rest in the knowledge that He is actively working in our lives.
