How does the gospel unite believers?

Answered in 1 source

The gospel unites believers by affirming that in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, but all are one in Him.

In Colossians 3:11, Paul emphasizes the unifying nature of the gospel, declaring that in Christ, distinctions such as ethnicity, social status, and background are made irrelevant. This unity is a reflection of our shared identity as God's elect, called out of darkness into His marvelous light. Believers are to see themselves as part of one body, where Christ is all and in all. This means that regardless of our differences, we are united in purpose and calling, leading to mutual love, compassion, and the fulfillment of the command to love one another as Christ has loved us. By recognizing our unity in Christ, we can foster a spirit of humility and grace among us.
