How does the grace of God affect our actions?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace empowers us to live righteously, not indulgently.

While grace is a gift that frees us from sin's penalty, it also empowers us for righteous living. Romans 6:1-2 teaches that we should not continue in sin just because we are under grace; rather, true grace transforms us, leading us to a new life in Christ. This transformation reflects in how we treat others and fulfill God's commands, showing that grace is not an excuse for sin but the very motive for our obedience as we seek to love others as God loves us.
