How does the Holy Spirit enable believers to live a holy life?

Answered in 1 source

The Holy Spirit enables believers to live a holy life by working within them to produce the fruits of the Spirit.

The role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is vital for living a holy life. Scripture teaches that the Spirit works within us, producing the fruit of holiness and guiding our steps on the path of righteousness. As noted in Isaiah 35, the desolate places of our hearts can be transformed into flourishing gardens by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit prompts us to abide in Christ, and through this union, we gain strength and nourishment to seek holiness. Our efforts to live righteously are not born of our striving but of the Spirit's transformative work in our lives, enabling us to reflect Christ's character.
