How does the Holy Spirit help us understand the Bible?

The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in helping believers understand the Bible, as He opens our minds to its truths and applies the Word to our hearts. Without the Spirit's work, the natural man cannot receive the things of God (1 Corinthians 2:14). The Spirit also provides the necessary faith to embrace biblical teachings and a teachable heart to accept guidance. Through prayer and dependence on the Holy Spirit, we gain insight into Scripture, allowing it to effectively direct our lives and strengthen our faith journey.
