How does the light of Christ change us?

The light of Christ profoundly alters the believer's life by shedding light on their spiritual condition and need for grace. By acknowledging their sinfulness and hopelessness apart from Christ, individuals are drawn to Him as their only source of hope and salvation. As stated in 2 Corinthians 4:6, God shines light into our hearts to give the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus Christ. This change is not superficial; it transforms the heart, leading to repentance, faith, and a desire to live in accordance with God's will. Believers are therefore called to reflect this light in their lives, becoming beacons of hope to a world in darkness.
