How does the path of the just differ from the path of the wicked?

Answered in 1 source

The path of the just is illuminated by Christ and leads to life, unlike the dark path of the wicked.

The path of the just is described in Proverbs 4:18 as 'the shining light that shineth more and more unto the perfect day,' reflecting the righteousness of Christ imputed to believers. In contrast, the path of the wicked is characterized as darkness, where individuals are ignorant of their spiritual condition and stumble in sin. The just walk in the light, seeing clearly the grace and mercy of God that sustains them, while the wicked remain lost in their sin and rebellion. This distinction highlights the transformative work of grace in the lives of believers, who, despite their struggles, are called out of darkness and into the light of God's Kingdom (1 Peter 2:9).
