How does the peace of Christ differ from worldly peace?

Answered in 1 source

The peace of Christ is eternal and rooted in salvation, while worldly peace is temporal and often superficial.

Worldly peace is often temporary and based on external circumstances, creating a shallow sense of security that can easily be disrupted. In contrast, the peace of Christ, as noted in John 14:27, is profound and lasting because it stems from the redemptive work He accomplished. Jesus' peace is everlasting and offers a deep, abiding comfort that withstands life's trials and tribulations. Unlike the world's peace, which is sometimes achieved at a cost, Christ’s peace is offered freely and does not require anything from us but faith in Him.
