How does the resurrection assure believers of their salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The resurrection provides the foundation for assurance that believers are justified before God.

The resurrection of Jesus serves as the cornerstone of the believer's assurance of salvation. As noted in Romans 5:1, being justified by faith gives us peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. The empty tomb is concrete evidence that God accepted Christ's sacrifice, demonstrating that He has satisfied His own justice. Since Jesus lives, believers are assured of their standing before God; indeed, Scripture teaches that He intercedes for us at the Father’s right hand. The resurrection assures believers that their sins have been fully atoned for, offering them a good conscience and reconciliation with God.
