How does the resurrection prove our acceptance in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

The resurrection of Christ signifies God’s acceptance of His sacrifice and assures believers of their acceptance.

1 Corinthians 15:14 states, 'And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.' The resurrection serves as the ultimate proof that God accepted Christ’s work of atonement. Had Christ not risen, it would imply that His sacrifice was insufficient for our sins. However, His victory over death confirms that all who believe in Him are accepted and have eternal life through His righteousness, thus reinforcing our hope and security in Him.
