How does the Son of God provide for His bride, the church?

In the same way a husband cares for his wife, the Son of God provides for His bride through various means. First, He supplies spiritual nourishment; through His sacrifice, He offers 'eternal life' (John 6:54), symbolizing the sustenance necessary for spiritual vitality. Furthermore, Christ adorns His bride with robes of righteousness, representing the justifying work that clothes believers in His grace. He also provides in terms of eternal shelter, as stated in John 14:2, where He promises that in His Father's house are many rooms, assuring believers of their eternal destiny and security in Him.
