How does the sovereignty of God provide comfort to believers?

Answered in 1 source

God's sovereignty assures believers that He is in control and works all things for their ultimate good.

Believers find tremendous comfort in God's sovereignty, especially during trials and uncertainties. The Bible assures us that God is intricately involved in every aspect of our lives, orchestrating events for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28). This belief gives Christians the peace of mind to trust Him in times of distress, knowing that He is using even the struggles we face to strengthen our faith. The examples from Acts demonstrate how even in opposition and chaos, God's purpose prevails, reminding us that His plans are higher than our understanding (Isaiah 55:8-9).
