How does the sovereignty of God relate to Joseph's actions in Egypt?

Answered in 1 source

Joseph's actions exemplify God's sovereignty over all circumstances and people.

Joseph's orchestration of events during the famine showcases the sovereignty of God at work. He moved the Egyptians and controlled the distribution of resources according to the need of the people. Likewise, God moves us where He wills for His purpose and glory. Joseph’s ability to manage the famine illustrates God's control over human affairs. The lesson here is that, just as God was sovereign over the management of Egypt through Joseph, He is sovereign over our lives. All events, including our locations and circumstances, are under His divine authority, and we are to trust in His providential care.
