How does the story of the Queen of Sheba relate to salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The Queen of Sheba's visit to Solomon illustrates the necessity of seeking God and recognizing His glory in salvation.

The Queen of Sheba's journey to seek Solomon reflects the heart of a true believer's desire to know God and His wisdom. Just as she traveled from far to hear the wisdom of Solomon, sinners are called to come and see the glory of God revealed in Christ. In her coming, she acknowledged the greatness of Solomon's wisdom, yet Christ invites us to recognize that He is the ultimate wisdom that leads to salvation (1 Kings 10:4-5). The true essence of this narrative teaches us that, like the Queen, our understanding of the glory of God in Christ transforms our hearts and brings us to faith in Him.
