How does tribulation lead to perseverance in faith?

Answered in 1 source

Tribulation produces perseverance as believers learn to rely more on God's grace and strength (Romans 5:3-4).

According to Romans 5:3-4, tribulations serve a purpose in the life of a Christian by cultivating patience, experience, and hope. These trials, while challenging, are designed by God's sovereign will to draw us closer to Him and strengthen our faith. As we endure difficulties, we learn to trust in Christ more deeply, which matures our character and solidifies our assurance of salvation. This process reflects God’s perfect plan for spiritual growth and dependence on His power.
