How does weakness in faith affect salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Weakness in faith does not jeopardize salvation; what matters is the strength of the object of faith, which is Christ.

The sermon reassures believers that it's not the size or strength of one’s faith that determines salvation but the object of that faith, Jesus Christ. It makes a clear distinction that a weak faith in a strong Christ is entirely saving. Just as one who clings to a strong post is safe regardless of how small or weak their grip may be, so too is the believer who looks to Christ for salvation. This understanding brings comfort to many who struggle with their faith, reminding them that as long as their reliance is on Christ, their faith is genuine and saving, regardless of its perceived strength.
