How does worship relate to salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Worship is inherently linked to salvation; one cannot truly worship God without being saved.

Worship is inextricably linked to salvation in that true worship can only arise from a heart that has been transformed by God’s grace. In the sermon, it is pointed out that if someone is not saved, they cannot worship God authentically, as worship stems from a new nature given by the Holy Spirit. This means that worship is not simply an outward act but reflects the believer's understanding of their salvation and relationship with God. Thus, worship should be seen as the natural response of a saved individual who recognizes their need for cleansing and their dependence on Christ for righteousness.
