How has Christ broken down the barriers of sin?

The breaking down of barriers is a central theme in the Gospel, particularly in how Christ's sacrifice reconciles both Jews and Gentiles to God. Ephesians 2:14 states, 'For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.' This signifies that through His death, Christ removes the enmity that exists due to sin. Moreover, not just between different people groups, but also between the sinner and God.
