How has God shown His mercy to humanity?

Answered in 1 source

God has shown mercy by sending Christ to redeem us from our sins.

In the sermon, it explains that God is 'rich in mercy' (Ephesians 2:4). His mercy is displayed in His act of sending Jesus Christ to save His people from their sins. Romans 5:8 illustrates this by stating that God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This act of mercy is not based on our works or worthiness but is a testament to God's character and His desire to save those who are lost.
