How is God's grace displayed in our suffering?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is uniquely displayed in our suffering, providing strength and comfort through His Spirit (2 Corinthians 12:9).

In times of suffering, God's grace manifests profoundly, equipping believers to endure hardships while experiencing His sustaining power. As Paul reflects on his thorn in the flesh, he learns that despite desiring relief, the Lord's response remains, 'My grace is sufficient for you.' This teaches that, through suffering, we often come to fully appreciate the depth of God's grace. Our weaknesses become platforms for God's strength to be shown, and in these moments, believers can find hope and solace as they lean heavily on Christ. Suffering invites a closer fellowship with the Savior who has already borne the greatest suffering on our behalf.
