How is grace connected to our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Grace is fundamental to our salvation as it is by grace we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ.

Grace is a cornerstone of salvation in Christian doctrine. It reflects God's unmerited favor towards sinners. Ephesians 2:8-9 teaches that we are saved by grace through faith, not by our works. This grace ensures that our salvation is entirely God's work, as demonstrated in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Moreover, Christ, in His grace, assumed our nature, lived a perfect life, and bore our sins, thereby accomplishing the full redemption necessary for our salvation. Without grace, humanity would remain in its fallen state without hope of restoration to a right relationship with God.
