How is Jesus our mediator?

Jesus is referred to as our mediator in the New Covenant, as highlighted in Hebrews 12:24. His role as mediator involves standing between God and humanity, representing us before the Father. Through His sacrificial death, He satisfies God's justice, granting us access to the throne of grace. Unlike the old covenant, which was mediated by the law and brought condemnation, the new covenant through Christ offers forgiveness and reconciliation. By believing in Him, we receive the righteousness required to draw near to God, thus affirming that our relationship with Him is secure in Christ alone.
